Freedom
To what degree are any free
Sans responsibility
Or what Liberty is earned
Or given without a cost
Freedom earned on principled stands
Requires sacrifice
Freedom lost by complacent hands
Carries a weightier price
Abducted freedoms translate
into caged captivity
Within the arms of either
Proposed friend or enemy
