About This Poem
Heart's Triad
The moon glides daintily into the arms of the waiting sky
Chaperoned by Venus by her side.
The night clasps us in an embrace
We fold into each other's heartbeat
Stars sparkling in our eyes
Into my heart, you breathe a song, so soft
Trichord of soulful whispers
Strumming a major chord with my heart strings
Your baton caressing a crescendo of resonance
Our heartbeats oscillate to a snychronized crooning
Intoxicated blood in veins running
From lowest pitch to the highest, the root, vermillion red.
Our quintessences merge in symphony
Eyes flow with volume of words, sweet nothings
Our spirits spirit seeps into mouths
For lips to partake, easing thirst
Appeasing cravings of body, soul, surrendering
As silvery moonlit streaks liquify our silhouettes.
