About This Poem
Nature's Surrender
~Nature’s Surrender~
Autumn leaves of faded gold
Finally given in to the fight of surviving old
Worn by a winter’s sting with its cold chill
The leaves surrender to be killed~
Raindrops known for their clear reflections
Will eventually take on a new direction
To give way to a birth of a new fallen snow
Surrendering to stop traces of their translucent glow~
Snowflakes that dance of pure white
Will soon fade to translucent silhouettes in sight
Melting their shapes into spring’s canvas to come alive
The snowflakes soon will surrender falling from the sky~
Everything in nature’s surrender
Exists to allow a season to exhibit their richest splendor
Thus after each season comes to an end
We will surrender to their beauty once again~
