I never found anyone to share my life with
but my life goes on
forever in the sun
my blankets take me to sleep
and I dream of you almost constantly
my mind is not like yours

when I wash up on the shore

will I ever be renewed and reassured
by your everlasting voice
and will you go with me into the sunset

you were in my dreams
you were a part of me
you were in my life
and saved me
I was floating in the ocean
with all of its waves throwing me back and forth
my head was barely above water
but my head was in the same world as yours
and you seem so reassured
