Moved
facing the first time
her wheel-chaired son on the move
saddest vale of tears
driving his wheelchair
his face splashes happiness
enjoying his ride
watching two people
having their own point of view
I can relate to
we meet now and then
all those years I saw his smile
ten inspiring years
an impressive guy
cleaning his second wheelchair
for tomorrows ride
Note: 11.30.2012: message from his wife: "I did not expect my husband to be "on the internet' in such a unusual and also very special way. You have touched me very deeply with your poignant poem. Thank you so very much."
