Pain
The barrel touched his temple,
As his hands began to tremble.
His heart had second thoughts,
But mind and body were easily
bought.
He wanted out, away,
From the living Hell his life had
become.
He pulled it away,
But replaced it with ease,
But his hand retreated with her
begging "please."
In his mind?
Maybe not.
She placed a hand on his.
She felt his hit,
Her gasp filled the room.
He pulled the trigger and was no
more,
His blood splattered on the floor.
