About This Poem
Thanks Giving
The ways of a foolish man are disappointing…
he it is who enjoys a lavish life and says- ‘I
am a self-made man -
no one
knows the
struggles I went through to get where I am.’ He forgets that
God gave him his intelligence and
instead boasts of his
various abilities and accomplishments.
In contradiction, a wise man knows his wisdom is from above -
nothing or no one can hinder him in his quest and stop him from
giving thanks, because he knows that without HIM, he is NOTHING.
