* Thank goodness President Lincoln didn't hire his officers based on their dress, but on the merit of their tactical warfare strategies!  :)

    This is nice. I like it. I used to live in Il. and once visit his home. We were told that when the towns people bought it for him at the end of the war - it cost a whole $2.000. Thank you so much for reading my poem. Lucilla

    This is a perfect example on how a Clerihew can be short but sweet! I love the way you did this, I don't think I could have come up with such an ingenious write! What a fun piece, Great Work!!
