The Charmer

Charming a deadly poisonous snake
Is a hazardous occupation
For if a charmer makes one mistake
It's a striking attestation

Jon Snake charmers are fun and mesmerizing to watch, but it's very scary and intense. Nice write my friend.

I really like this piece, and I love the brevity; it's concise and to the point. The only suggestions I have would be to smoothen it out a bit. I stumbled through your first line of rhyme; even though it's good and makes perfect sense, I think you could say the same thing but with different words, to iron out the wrinkles. I wish the last line had something about a bite or a strike ruining his concentration; that would have driven the whole thing home for me. Nonetheless, a clever write! Kudos!

Youre a funny guy Ha ha ha. I enjoyed this one, once I sunk my teeth into it. Nothing like the taste of cobra in the evening!

Richard, you are also a very funny and witty guy. Don't spice the meat up too much it could bite back.

Indeed, a deadly poisonous snake usually had bright colored skin, but they are very beautiful, careful for your steps, otherwise they will ruin your holiday XD-Hug, Yanny

I will indeed stay away from these deadly vipers for I am no charmer. But they are indeed beautiful sirens. Thank you for taking the time to read my poem Yanny. I hope you have a wonderful week.

Or it will ruin him. Will he be still alive? Lol. I can't see how he can be exempt while others wouldn't survive. Cute, John. Love ya, Toquyen

LOL, You saw just where I was going with this. My original write for the last line was "It would be the end of his vocation" But I liked this version better. For me it was so much funnier.
