Just Me and My Dixon Ticonderoga

Some kids play soccer.
Some go out for a mocha.
I, however, chew my DIXON Ticonderoga.

I look out the window
and cringe in disgust.
They're fighting over a basketball and making a fuss.

I just nibble at my eraser.
Happy as can be

Well, I am kind of friendless.

And I’m often lonely.

Oh who am I kidding! This is the life, baby!

This is priceless Jacob. I had to look up DIXON Ticonderoga and laughed my head to kingdom come. It has been so much fun reading your poetry today. love, Kathy

WOW! Dixon pencil. That takes me back what a fun poem. My favorite were the animal shaped erasures. I enjoyed this poem of yours.
