About This Poem

Driven to drive

I take in a drive in movie
Cos i want to imagine you here
Eating our popcorn and smoothie
Whispering into my ear

That you will never leave me
Its exactly what you've done
I know it was god,s doing
Leaving me all alone,

I drive a lonely road now
Heartache I do contrive
To remember with sorrow
Somehow I manage to survive

Time to go to bed now
I take you every night
When snug and curled in a ball
Everything seems alright

But still the road is hit and miss
Pain cant eleviate the loss
Managing to control this .
Makes me half the woman I was.

This is a good read. Is it for the contest by Michael? Sad one but I enjoyed it. (and you made me think about drive in movies which I sure do miss)

The answer is yes Mandy. But I am trying to carry on living.. Emphasis on living not existing. Seren
