About This Poem

road full of potholes

The road that I drive
Is riddled with potholes
I can never conceive
That life isnt just a role

A role in making good
Wherever we are
By helping raise food
In a drought area

To help the homeless
Find a roof for their head
Not turned away distressed
They just need a bed

The road is long and twisting
Many hazards are in store
Its called life, were not visiting
We only have this tour

So foot on the gas and drive
Help wherever you can
Pull into a layby
Pray for help from man.
