Painful Enchantment
Trembling thoughts.
Can I save you?
I found the passageway.
Raindrops quiver,
As they drop upon the leaves.
We enter perfect daylight.
You ask,"Can we dance"?
Suddenly it's night.
Our bodies fit together in a fit of tumbling passion.
Magic.
A blanket of stars overhead.
Back and forth, back and forth,
We sidle to silent music.
The trance continues.
Rhythmic beats,
At our feet.
I could stay here forever.
I can't hide it anymore.
"I love you", I whimper.
Finally.
He says,"You saved me."
