Eclipse
I witnessed every single day
the sun and the moon disappear
too slow or too fast
behind mountains or rivers
horizons with trees
and too often
watched it all
sink into so many lakes
and far away seas
I experienced
lunar and solar eclipses
heartbreaking moments
in which their lights
disappeared
sometimes into another yesterday
too often in the darkest dark night
it’s a great gift of life
not feeling blinded
being able to see
someway
somehow
somewhere
all those different lights
have been collecting
their forces
to shine
their light
on me
and my beautiful world of today
