Once Again
~Once Again~
At last, I finally can enjoy the things I haven’t in a while
The way the warm sun shines on me, making me smile
I picked up a rose the other day and recaptured its scent
Appreciated the way its existence alone brings along such elegance
~Once again~
My heart is healing at last from a sting like no other
Scars no longer left to bleed by another
My heart can dance now in between the blue waves at sea
Through a ship all by itself left to be protected and set free
~Once again~
I found myself mesmerized at a bird soaring through the air
How magically it sang a song as if it was only meant for me to hear
Its wings were stretched towards a journey it longed to go
A place where it once flew a long time ago
~Once again~
After today’s sunset, I shall glance upon the only star tonight
A star that will have enough strength to light up the whole sky
Knowing that all things on their own in their courageous fight
Are able to show their true beauty in the end in destiny’s sight
~Once again~
