Christmas Once Again
~Christmas Once Again~
Christmas has come back around
With houses decorated with beautiful lights
Snowflakes find their trails to cover the ground
While we stand here admiring such a nostalgic sight~
Once again
Chimneys are all smoking with that warm hickory sent
Filling the air with the feeling that Christmas is here
Another magical year of this holiday we have spent
Feeling blessed to embrace such an enchanting cheer~
Once again
A winter wonderland decorates a hallmark holiday scene
Trees once bare and brittle are now protected with Christmas snow
The world around us has been transformed in heaven’s white beauty
Glistening its diamond tints into an everlasting glow~
Once again
Outside the children are laughing as they make snow angels to appear
The smiles on their faces welcome Santa Claus to visit their homes tonight
Their hearts are all contented just realizing that they’ve been good all year
Knowing Santa Claus has been watching them through his magic snow ball in clear sight
Once again
The magic of Christmas has come to our little town
Bringing along a splendor scenery for all of us to admire
Sending warmth and cheer to our hearts when magic is found
Through the first eternal flame that lights a fire~
Of Christmas once again…
