Your lips by love's own hand were made
Thy melody like a symphony of Mozart
Thine eyes like gems, exquisite jade
The tears that flow when we are apart
Of your beauty many can recite
But only one draws to thy bosom near
Your essence glows, a guiding light
To lead me through the gloom and fear
That light has dimmed to just a flicker
Though my flaming love burns like wildfire
As my aching heart pounds much quicker
Will love now burn on heartaches pyre
