a rangoli pattern 
in a Mumbai courtyard --
oil lamps flicker

*Mumbai /m?m'ba?/, also known as Bombay, is the capital city 
of the Indian state of Maharashtra.

    Mumbai is the Commercial Capital of India.Previously it was known as Bombay.Nice capture of image of Dewali in this haiku Debi.

    I don't know rangoli or mumbai, but they sound mideastern! Love that last line.
