About This Poem
Beneath The Maple Trees
~
I went for a walk today in the rain
The wind took my hair blowing it hither
It felt so sublime and divine
I strolled beneath the Maple trees
And their leaves came tumbling down
Red, burnt orange and yellow
It was a perfect moment in time
I gathered many to press within pages
But alas, they crumbled in my hand
And I let them flutter away
