A big thank you to you, dear Debbie Guzzi
When I was on the soup, new
Under your wings, you took me
From you, inspiration I drew.
You have been so patient
Teaching me all the poetic forms
Giving me your wonderful doze of encouragement
Educating me on syllable counts and haiku norms.
You have always been there for me
Your guidance has been spiritually uplifting
Talking to you sets all my doubts, fears, free
In my life, you have been such a blessing.
Debi-Ma, I can't thank you enough
If today, I can write the way I do
The confidence you given me, when life's been tough
To you I dedicate all my contest wins, the credit simply goes to you.
