Dark liberation
Dark Liberation
Inching out half a life time
And dreaming of liberation
In half- a- mile traffic jams
And half- inch parking frustrations
After one hundred years
Of blissful hibernation
Of people who mattered
The bygone Generations
Going without power
Are years, two out of three
Brought things to this pass
By the powers that be
In about a decade
Amazing, one will agree.
That this highway also inches
To the grounds of cremation
Where too darkness is the norm
Is fair consolation.
