Christmas Presents

The crisp edges of paper
Folded neatly at all ends
The brightly folded ribbons
With big shallopey bends

There's Santa and Rudolph
I think I see them all
I have been waiting and wishing
All through the fall

Greens more beautiful than I have ever seen
Balls and bells and other types of winter things
Attaching labels, best wishes, carols for the King
So Christmas mourning where did you go?

Another seasons come and past
I really wanted much more than
Just two people passed
After all your my dad

I shed a tear
I see the call
I had a beer
I sat and bawled

I wished you here
Instantly magic to reappear
Then in the silience of it all
I had a laugh you closed my mall
