Eternal stay
I've come to say goodbye.
Effortless, I must no longer shy.
Tearing glare, afraid to care
Selfishly holding on to you, not willing to share.
Decomposing all that has been left.
Holding on to that silly cloth like mesh.
Breathless, hard to speak,
Not quit understanding why you & not me?
Shutting down, left without a sound.
Leaving me but this foolish crown.
Endless nights, of tear jerking freights.
Not sure if anything can make this right?
Healing wounds,
Not willing to move.
Looking for what seems true,
Lost & feeling hopeless without you.
