Strong analogy in this haiku. Hmmm, actually, I can take the haiku several ways. I enjoy how the 'cut' after the first line is smooth, not too wide. I am finding a lot of people's cuts and juxtapositions to be too severe and wide, and you did great with it here.

LOL, yes, that lifetime guarantee on appliances doesn't extend our life one bit. Wish it did. Love the perspective here.
