Let Everything That Has Breath

Bells and bamboo
Cymbals and tap shoes
Jugs and empty bottles
Tires and engine throttle
Sweaky stairs and rocking chairs
Rustling leaves blown in the breeze
The drip of a drop of water
Rattling of chains
Crashing of waves
A mixture of rain and thunder
The tick of a clock
The click of a lock
A quake that tears assunder

! I CAN RELATE TO YOUR PRECIOUS HEART'S TITLE IN THAT, 'EVERYTHING THAT BREATH'S, DEAR SWEET JOHN. AS FOR THE CANVAS ITSELF, A RUBIC CUBE I CANNOT SEEM TO GATHER ? PERHAPS IF I FIND MYSELF IN THE MIDST OF A GREAT QUAKE I SHALL KNOW THEN, LOL. THANK YOU FOR YOUR LOVELY KIND VISIT; VERY KIND. LOVE ALWAYS, RACHEL *

I like the unique way that you pulled this one together..All these items make their own music or noise just according to how one looks at it or the way it is used or the mood we are in at the moment...Enjoyed reading your great work..Thanks for stopping by my latest work..Sara

The title kinda threw me off the poem. Was not sure what you meant by it. I know the quake can be destructive to everything and maybe that is what you meant. love phyl
