About This Poem
A Void Of Existence
A Void Of Existence
A void within my soul
Exists from a different place
For death has paid a visit to my life
Taking away my other half of existence
I walk along the same paths that we once held hands
I’m looking up at the sky wondering if his existence is mysteriously with me
I see leaves around me falling off the trees thus leaving them bare
Once that was decorated in beautiful happiness now appearing to be a void of existence; rested on the tree of life
Soon winter’s cold winds without a conscience will sweep away the leaves forever
Though nature has left their imprints for one to ponder on the ground
Left for us to feel that within the void of existence-
What seems like a total loss has only transformed in a different way
