Rain slowly trickles Dribbles from blue asphalt roof Wets ink 'pon page "Twas dry dull work written by The old poet as tears did flow

    You had me at the first line.....you know my poet soul, Sara...how did you know my eyes would fill with tears before line 3? I've tried so hard these last few years to pour my heart out thru poetry....captured here on soup ....I still have much to write....my heart is filled with compassion for all living things....and love for all things imperfect....seems trivial to say I will print and fave this mystical art forever....yours...jimbo
