SUN and MOON

If you were the sun
And I were the moon
I'd lay here silently
Fade into you
I guess I wanted you more
Then what your heart could bare
You always said if I was by your side
You could climb the highest mountain
Streaking sunsets across the sky
Painting rainbows across my heart
You said there was beauty in my laugh
As true beauty came from my kindness
You are a dream inside of a dream
You are whispers on the wind to my heart
Can you not find your way back to me
I guess the road of us was too long
For your heart to understand

Your "spur of the moment" words cast a spell reading the message in this. Has a feeling of angst and acceptance that leaves me feeling sad.

A very nice combination' hopefuly one can open their eyes, to everything that resides on the side of them. A very tasteful but sad poem. Have a nice day.~SKAT~

Hello Debbie, A nice one, some emotions are surely inexpressive and beyond our understanding. I like this.

Nice imaginative write. Those two proximal heavenly bodies have inspired many great writes through the ages. This is one more for that very long list.
