Words and Feelings
A certain saying said "words are wind",
But I no you can feel a bad one to you deep within.
Whether is a good or bad one you say,
It can make or break my day.
Some people pretend to have heart like stone,
But a bad word may by worse than a broken bone.
There's words that brings feelings that last long,
Like "hate" is one that's so strong.
Some words are sharper than a samurai sword,
And some that's a standing platform like a piece of board.
Some words even drive me insane,
Making me stresses out & hurting my brain.
With actions we support what words we preach,
Being careful what we say & to who we teach.
Also think before the words come out,
Because of the detrimental weapon called the mouth.
There's words that's critical no matter by who it's said,
And some people confess on their death bed.
They can also leave lasting memories,
And are also used to write great stories.
The good book said life & death is in the power of the tongue,
That's why words could help others rise or drag the down.
Say a good word to someone or nothing at all,
Because a word to hurt someone could also be our downfall.
