Carol this takes me back to August 29, 2005 when Hurricane Katrina came in with the eye right over our town of Slidell, Louisiana All of us had to gut our homes and start over, There were wild hogs all over our streets and snakes in all the houses...It was a horror that lasted for years and there are still remnants of Katrina...... Thanks for your poem...sometimes memories are good for the soul...makes us appreciate things, Judy

This is so indicative of storm behaviour Carol. We are having dreadful flooding in parts of Australia and you have simply put the scenario of how this go from start to finish in a nutshell. Very descriptive. Well done. Pam.
