Chains

Chains
I've been chained to this wall for some time,
not sure how I got here but it's not time.
I used to think love would just set me free,
A cruel way to find out it oppressed me.

Trapped by a lover who just would not care,
"I wish you didn't love me", seems so fair.
Then you can understand my good bye wish,
I don't wish to know you or deminish
myself any further with your cold lies,
told so well with such passionate cold eyes.
Next time you call me I will never be there
because I honestly now could never care.
 and now
My words makes me strong and sets me free,
breaking apart all of these damn chains I see.
