About This Poem
Life is Good
This year has been a prosperous year.
I've been taking poetry and memoir
writing classes at the local Cal State
Campus for seniors. I've only been
writing poetry for two years but,
lately, I seem to be gaining a lot more
positive feedback on Facebook, and
of course Poetry Soup. I spend usually
seven to eight hours writing each day,
(oh yes, don't forget the novel) then
every evening I spend with friends
having dinner, then watching a movie.
I have to say that 2012 was pretty
perfect. I am disabled which causes
occasional problems but otherwise
life is good.
