About This Poem
Empty Graves
Empty Graves
Empty graves buried under land
Thought to have bodies there
What the people of the town don’t understand
The dead has risen, beware!
They will lurk in the shadows tonight
When the moon shows its mysterious light
You will see them hungry, thirsty in plain sight
Walking their way over to you, to feed their appetite
Empty graves were all torn apart
To discover that the dead opened the ground
They are searching for organs, perhaps a liver or a heart
For their bloodbath feast they scrounge
When you leave your home tonight
Be aware of what lurks in the shadows
Yes, they’re out their in plain sight
The dead has risen from the grounds below!!
Happy Halloweeeeeen!!!!!!!!
