I think poetry is a little piece of us that we would like to leave behind for others once we have gone. The words hopefully will stay around for the rest of eternity. Love this poem. love phyl

Oh, I like it, Gail. That is really nice. Awesome. A poet's words are his being, his make up, his vision. Totally agree. Love ya, Toquyen

An enjoyable read, and something that awakens a feeling of kinship in most on this site...

I feel that my words are all that will last after I am gone! I hope that I can get them out and in the world so others can read what I have to say! Your poem struck a chord within me and resonated this feeling of mortality vs immortality through words! I hope to leave my mark by my words, will it better the human race, I don't know, maybe one person will have benefited by them! What a delightful write this one is my friend! I really enjoyed reading this exciting and exemplary piece! Great Work!!
