About This Poem

Joshua

Just as a man
Of joy and laughter not filled within
Speak not of the pain and destruction you felt
Held it in all these years...why, we could have helped
Up, we could have held you...but you never spoke of it, for this was unknown
All of it...all of it...none it known.

Holly, this is good for you to keep writing it out of yourself. My friend Floria did the same thing when her son died young. And in the process, she discovered she was a poet and began writing other things as well. I cannot seem to locate that poem "the three of us" or something like that. I looked and didn't see it. Maybe I just passed it by? WEll, I will see you later. Luv, Andrea
