Twister

The heavens roar, the clouds quake,
From a deep sleep, I awake.

When the wind blows, the trees break,
I can see the funnel over the lake.

As it comes closer, I start to shake,
I stare watching how much debris it can make.

It's so powerful, it seems fake,
I can't escape, I just stand still as my life it takes.
