Slumber Time Again

On the other side of the world, the sun shines brightly. Now the stars and moon can be seen ever so slightly. The night prevails over the sky above your head. Now is the time to take that short walk to bed. Say your evening prayers and end them with an “amen”. You’ve got that soporific feeling again. It is the time for slumbering away until we see the light of the next day.

Just as it's getting time to shut out the light I come across this lovely verse to take me to sleep. Time waits for no one and the old world keeps spinning around. Great way to end the day Robert. Love Lizzie

Very sweet. and to imagine folks still praying by their beds! I really like this one, Robert. After 50, for me anyway, sleep is becoming more a luxury. I go to bed late as always, but it's harder to STAY asleep and I keep waking up after only 3 hours and having a heck of a time getting back to sleep knowing I have to awaken at 7 for work. GEEEEZ
