Erstwhile Lovers
creatures of the night
the bats zoom in abandon
darkness cloaks their flight
secret rendezvous’ arise
heartbreak marries morning light
mesmerizing sights
the rhythmic beat of fireflies
sunlight fades its light
a love shrouded in darkness
drowns inside the marriage tide
