Maybe Just A Thought

If you could change the world What would the first thing be Maybe close down all the zoos To set the animals free Maybe get yourself some air time To tell all people to take a stand For the rulers of our countries Have gotten to far out of hand Maybe tell all of the people You now have your own lives to live Though if you want to live them happily Learn, and use the word forgive Maybe stop all of the madness That new technology brings People used to live without it And they did just fine without those things Maybe stop all of the wars And get everybody watching everyones back Then we will no longer need to use the words Steal, kill, murder, war, execution,or attack

Your poem is thought provoking beautiful! Question do you really think if society decided to throw away all of the new technology and release all of the animals this world would be a better place? It is sad to think that us humans crave to have so much control and not let nature take it's true course most of the time! Have a beautiful week. Patricia L

Woooowww, Dan a stupendous rendition, and reminder of how this world forgets to stop and think to lend a helping hand, to those who need it, and love the important things that can make a difference.... Very powerful words at the end... Loved it!!!!

To live in an Eden paradise. What a wonderful thought. I can't even find that in my dreams. But your wonderful poem put that thought in my head even if it were for only a moment. Thank you.

From the salt shaker, to your mission, to missing words, to just a thought; Dan you covered a lot of ground and done it well. I think you have not lost your words, you're on a mission, got some great thoughts and you're shakin' it up!

Great poem... super message! Unfortunaely, a different 'message' is far more widely spread by those (few) who profit from 'the bad stuff'... Terry
