No Nation in history has ever been erected on the merits of passivity - negotiating with a corrupt, sinister, foreign legal system achieves little other than palatable servitude - Gandhi, like many pragmatic representatives of oppressed peoples and tribes compromised to ensure the survival of a greater longer term objective of sovereignty for India which has yey to come to fruition largely because the indigenous folk there are still buying into treats in exchange for submission to Roman Law -JAB
