About This Poem

Whiteness Witnessed

Can your colours for the year:)
Swirl undulations in; concentric."
Vanilla shaded ridges coalesce...
Swells in the pail; then disappear.

               Im-pailed
A circle of steel they put it in."
Yet with a flat ended tool,
pop open that tin..!
Draw out with a'plomb
The liquid white;
 to brighten the hall,
on christmas nights;

(Gathering the esscence)

The spirit is of colour clear,
When blackness hovers.
Call him near, applied with the soul
Aligned with Love; paint life
With the gifts from God above.."

    White can be surreal. White can be many things, mysterious when witnessed or benign. This is a mind gooser, Joe. You usually do conjure something fascinating. Love, daver

    Shivering, I am, with the thought of frosted colors turning white. Delightful to read and I shall take heed and head south before the arrival of the flakes. Enjoyed, John

    You've created a wonderful scene with your paints, Joe. Oh, I'm trying to think what that flat ended tool to open cans is called.I looked it up...it's called a 'paint can opener'?=/ No riddles nor mazes to understand in this write, Joe! Your last stanza is a remarkable statement of your faith! Love, Mikki

    very cool way to do three poems in one. (unless you meant them as three stanzas of one poem?) They all flowed together so well, Joe. I especially liked that last stanza. Awesome message.
