I, Homeless
limbo is mine place
wherein I dost bide
dark inner oblivion
whence I canst hide
life’s no fixed abode
whereabouts I reside
loneliness mine steed
whereupon I oft ride
hope’s wishful home
whereon I often cling
uselessness blissful lie
whereof I wistfully sing
destitute of experience
whereby death I await
without worldly goods
whereat time I debate
ever wandering abroad
whereas I being wanes
trapped in mindlessness
wherefore I do remain
retired necessitous flesh
whereby I can’t escape
imbued imperious soul
where I homeless relate
this thoughtless world
wherever I shall roam
surely there is no place
wherein I may call home
