GOTHIC PROPHET

Gothic Prophet

Balancing light & dark!
Each amongst its own, one succumbs...Coexisting, for each to illuminate at maximum potential!
Balancing these objects-Essential!
Thee enlightened plants a seed
In thee abyss of your soiled soul.
Within the darkness fertility escalates
Light warms the soiled;
Germinating......

Forming in its gothic estate,
An enlightened being, equipped
With a 3rd eye that squint from lighting,
Dark doctrines inked with pigment,
With signs of Vitiligo?

Spreading......Spewing,
Parables of peril, where struggles
Enlighten the journey.
Vocal Ink extracted from an eclipse
With blinding rays of rare-ness!
White fire from a Black tongue,
Black fire from a White tongue
Refining all gray souls,
Never consuming for darkness.....

Mind states, illuminating!
Circumventing darkness, bringing
Light to goth, showcasing scaled,
Prophetic dialect!
Precise measurements of darkness,
Not to overshadow its sibling!
Cain and Abel-ish within the garden;
Extinguishing light!
Leaving no direction by sight,
Annihilating the gravitational pull towards
Gothic enlightenment...
Defeating the prophets purpose!

The Scribe M. Linton

Whoa. This is a heavily philosophical poem. So many thoughts to ponder on. This is you at your finest. Very crafty....actually, I found the end to be very tricky. Wot does the end-line mean? When you have time, drop me a line about it ok? I am quite intrigued.

Hey Marlon, I love that new picture! It's good to see you smiling! Have fun choosing a poem, may have to close your eyes and point at the screen, and let that be the one. That's the advice I gave to Ruben who was having a hard time choosing one. ha Ha! love and hugs to you and yours, Catie :)

Nice conflict delineated within the metaphysics of this composition Scribe - Bravo! The third verse is a spectacular tapestry of contrasts in color, in soul - I greatly respect the originality of these masterful metaphors - Makes me think about our power /potential to dismiss the forcast and predictions of others when they are in contradistinction, or countravening to our own objectives and sense of purpose - J.A.B. %

Hello, Scribe, I wonder the purpose of us all. I am in such an orthodox moment.. LOL. this is the second poem I've read with the same topics me and my Fiance were talking about. And the main person we talked about was Cain" Scribe, if you know the story, can you please tell me, what happen to Cain, after he murdered Able. Was he exiled, ..what kind of life did he inherit. I could not find anything on him, after reading about Cain & Able. I checked Genesis 6 to 8..maybe I missed something.

heck Genesis Chapter 4 Cain went to live in Nod.. His son Enoch was the first, and probably only to walk with God and live.
