She ran down the sidewalk
With tears in her eyes
Not caring if anyone
Stared with surprise
She collapsed on the ground
And cried very loud
She didn’t know what to do
A few of her friends came her side
Drying her damp hazel eyes
She started to mention
How her love connection
Has faded and broken apart
Her heart broke once
Her heart broke twice
When will you realize
She needs someone
To hold her close
I won’t let you hurt her anymore
She’s the one I love
I’ll treat her right
I promise to remain by her side
I’ll treasure her
Like sparkling gold
My love for her will never grow old
When she walks into the room
