Adolph Hitler,
that old unruly tiger,
crawled and begged a Jew at heaven's gate,
the Jew unmercifully replied, "Sorry! too late"

    Modupe, those last two lines are SO funny. Just loved them. My problem was the rhyme of tiger with Hitler, but I really appreciate your making such a sincere and strong effort to write a clerihew for my contest. Congrats on your HM. very clever idea this has.
