About This Poem
It Was Halloween Night
It was Halloween night, a night for frights
Grace was sick of all the horror sights
The rain was falling as she walked home
"Oh," she sighed, "I will be wet to the bone"
It was Halloween night
The street eerie as creatures did fight
A dracula walked by with sharp teeth to bite
She saw a dark silhouette walking alone
It was Halloween night
Oh, how she wished for a nice bright light
The thing coming had on a hoodie all white
In another direction she should have flown
When it reached her" it" dissolved to foam
It was Halloween night, a night for frights
