I'm new here and I see congratulations are in order. If it had anything to do with this poem, well, they got it right! I was caught up in this post from the start. At the conclusion, I had sand in my slippers. Great write.... I will read more later..... Jake

I once had a dream very similar to yours. That was after eating a couple of slices of pepperoni pizza just before going to bed. Congratulations on your win.

Wow, this is FANTASTIC. I just love how you told this story, It was so real as if I was there. To put a damper on it , however, check the rules again. I am not 100 percent sure, but I think it is a maximum of 30 lines and I count 32 here. (If that is true, all you would have to do is reduce last four lines to a couplet).

Thank you Andrea. I know I went over. I've been trying to figure out what I want to cut. She did say if you go over you will not docked points, but if it rambles you definitely will... so I might leave it as is and hope for grace. :/ Thanks for the heads-up. hugs
