    Like this Halloween write, my favorite line in the poem was "A witches brew, no sailor’s scouse With stink enough to peel a house

    I wasn't sure if others would know scouse, but my dad was career navy. He put red eye on everyting, and called any kind of soup, stew or casserole a scouse.
