My Ideal
She's the one that's my ideal,
but forever she would steal
my heart away...
and she would say...
Oh my dear I'll be the one,
as she goes about her fun
then she would stray...
all in a day!
All the time in my romance,
she would never take a chance
just for a while...
but in her smile...
She'd pretend she didn't care,
with her charm and golden hair
all in her eyes...
to my surprise!
I would always be the one
just to see her on the run,
she wasn't there...
for me to care...
She's a cotton-tale you see,
in the chase she would run free
from my romance...
there'd be no chance...
For a treasure to receive,
all the while I'd still believe
that she's the one...
to come undone...
