When Darkness Falls
When Darkness Falls
When darkness falls across the land
Are we able to understand?
That light is still shining through
Shedding its hues of rays onto all man
We never know where darkness will show
Though we’re aware that darkness doesn’t glow
Like the light which shows hope in everything we see
In every heart of someone we know
When darkness falls into our lives what do we do?
We wait patiently for the light to come shining through
So we may close our eyes once more in total peace
Knowing that behind the darkness, hope is always is waiting for me and you.
